EICMA: Moto Morini New Models
Corsaro Avio
Corsaro Avio.
Dazzling, tough and a pleasure
to behold. Bursting with personality, this new entry has a satin
silver finish on a blue frame, a nod to motorcyclists seeking
attention and easy handling more than true grit performance.
The Corsacorta Bialbero 1187 cc twin-cylinder has been
optimized to deliver 120 hp to the shaft and offer a fullbodied,
fluid thrust at low rpms. The features of the engine match the
qualities of the chassis and components, which encapsulate some
of the greatest names in Italian mechanical engineering. The
result is a spunky naked bike with an ambition of being competitive
in all areas including price.

The first of the new generation
Moto Morini's bikes is introduced in a version with several new
components:
· Brembo braking system with 320 mm double disc with radial
master-cylinder and 4- piston callipers. This solution, also
used for the Corsaro Veloce, responds to specific technical imperatives:
to guarantee the utmost safety by combining power and modulability
to offer efficient, total braking to any rider, even in the face
of sudden obstacles or slippery surfaces.
· Radial clutch master-cylinder for improved modulability.
· Sachs rear shock absorber with progressive linkage,
adjustable in rebound, compression and preload with single nut
with large piston and eased rebound spring. Complementing the
classic two-toned finish of red/silver and black/silver is a
new colour combination: black/white on black frame.

Corsaro Avio
Corsaro Veloce.
Even the sportiest version of the
Corsaro has been updated with technical features to deliver a
performance that can be judged supreme for its category.
· Brembo braking system with 320 mm double disc with radial
master-cylinder and 4-piston callipers.
· Radial clutch master-cylinder.
· Ohlins single shock absorber with separate tank offering
adjustment in length, preload, rebound and compression. The use
of the Ohlins rear suspension combined with the sophisticated
Marzocchi fork at front improve the stability and handling of
the motorcycle for steady performance, instant adaptability to
irregularities, not to mention an ability to withstand hard deceleration
during abrupt braking.
The Corsaro Veloce gets a new colour combo too: in addition to
the red and black versions, it will also be available in white
on a black technical base.
9 1/2.
Important new technical specs are reserved for the 9 1/2,
too. The 2008 models sport Excel spoked rims with an aluminium
alloy channel and tubeless tyres for as safe a ride as it gets.
Also offered are new and more enticing graphics that echo the
two-toned style that distinguishes Morini bikes:
· black/red with red frame
· black/silver with black frame
The line of accessories for touring will also see some new additions,
including a pannier on the left side and a rear case, both in
fabric and expandable.
