Mikuni Brings Back "Explicit
Performance Advisory"
Mikuni has brought back the sexy
Mikuni HSR "Explicit Performance Advisory" ad campaign
which ran in 2004. It featured calendar model Andra Cobb sitting
behind a Mikuni HSR carb equipped V-Twin engine.
 Mikuni is bringing back for its
2008 ad campaign a new "Explicit Performance Advisory"
ad featuring model Carrie Stroup. Carrie is shown posing with
her hands holding a polished Mikuni HSR carburetor and a wrench
and screwdriver. The picture is titled "V-Twins Have Fantasies
too" suggesting bikers dream about beautiful girls like
Carrie, while their bikes dream about the bolt-on performance.
Mikuni HSR Carburetors bolt up with simple hand tools to deliver
up to a 25% improvement in power and throttle response.
Mikuni plans to have this "HSR Fantasies" ad campaign
available as a poster to hand out at major bike events.
